The
woman in the animation is raising her straight arm to modify weight
distribution and change the angle of incline. If you are just learning
and want to change the angle of incline while maintaining a greater
degree of control it is best to start out with your hands flat on
your thighs. If your settings are correct, with your shoulders flat
on the canvas, your knees straight and your hands on your thighs,
the table should be parallel to the ground. Then keeping your palms
touching your body, gently slide your hands up until you have reached
the angle set by the tether strap. Most people will find the most
comfortable position for their arms if the are resting is to have
the arms crossed on their chest. If you are rocking you can hold
the handles while bending and straightening your knees and if you
have Traction Handles it is easy to create the rocking motion.
